🌿 Ingredients & Measurements
Base (Texture + Grip)
Arrowroot powder — 2 teaspoons
Kaolin clay — 1 teaspoon (improves adhesion + smoothness)
Zinc oxide (non-nano) — ½ teaspoon (adds opacity/coverage)
Color (Customize to Skin Tone)
Cocoa powder — ¼ to 1 teaspoon, adjust slowly
Cinnamon — tiny pinch (adds warmth)
Nutmeg — tiny pinch (balances tone)
Turmeric — pin-tip only (optional, for yellow undertone)
Binder (Prevents Crumbling)
Jojoba or almond oil — ½ to 1 teaspoon
Aloe vera gel — ½ teaspoon (key for smooth texture)

1️⃣ Mix all dry powders very well until fully blended.
2️⃣ Adjust color using cocoa, cinnamon, nutmeg, and turmeric a tiny bit at a time.
3️⃣ Add aloe vera gel and mix until smooth.

Darker shades can be made with cosmetic grade black cocoa powder and carob powder may be cheaper in the current market in place of general cocoa powder.
Has anyone actually made this recipe? I made it and it did NOT work as a foundation. It was hard to apply without crumbling and it provided zero coverage. If anyone has used this recipe and it worked please share. Thank you
