  2. This is exactly why people are confused. PRP isn’t really a “volume” thing, it’s more about skin quality and repair. It can help the area look healthier over time, but if the hollow is genetic or structural, PRP alone usually won’t magically fill it in.

    I’ve seen this play out in real life too, my friend Cassey’s mom tried PRP for under-eye issues (she did it at R3 Stem Cell in Mexico), and the biggest change wasn’t instant volume, but better texture, less crepey skin, and overall the area just looked more rested. Subtle, not dramatic.

    Feels like the real answer is: it depends on why the hollow is there. PRP helps the skin, fillers help volume, and expecting one thing to do everything is where people get disappointed.
